Happy Birthday, Dad

My father's birthday is coming up in a few days, and I am looking forward to spending the day with  friends and family and eating my grandmother's delicious cake.  Although i already gave him a gift, he needs a card.  This is the card that I made him:

I will submit it in challenges on Less is More (week 197) and Crazy for Challenges (214).

I hope you enjoyed it!

Birthday Wishes

I made a new birthday card to enter into Papertrey's anniversary contest. I submitted it to the color and sketch challenge that you will find here.
The lines are sponged, and the stamp is from text-styles think big #7. I hope you enjoy my card!

Here is the color recipe and sketch that I chose to use:

Organized chaos

Hello!  My newest card is chaotic, yet organized.  I used seven different black and white patterned papers (although one is hidden) to be cut into triangles that fit together to make an explosion sort of effect.  The base for the card is just a solid gray.  The "happy birthday" stamp that i used was from "Make a Wish Additions"
The first of two challenges that I am entering this in is the ColourQ challenge (#222) which requires me to follow a certain color scheme.
The second challenge is Retro Sketches (#95) which is where I got this sketch from.
I hope you enjoyed!

12th birthday card

Hi! I'm back with a new card that i made for a twelfth birthday. I used glitter tape on the word "birthday" in order to make it sparkly. Isn't it a unique technique?

I am submitting it into two challenges. the first that I am entering it into is Just us Girls (Challenge #218) which is a sketch challenge...
and the second is Dynamic Duos (challenge #82) which is a color challenge.
I hope you enjoyed!

Thanks, Teacher

Hey, everyone!  Because school has started once again, I decided to make a new card that is inspired by school!  All stamps are from Papertrey Ink stamp set called School Time.

I will be entering three challenges with this card.  The first one that I absolutely could not resist is Just Us Girls (#203) because it is a photo inspiration.
The second one is Retro Sketches (#78) which I thought couldn't go better with the picture.

And finally, I am entering The Simon Says kids challenge again.  I hope you enjoyed!

Ticket to Celebrate

Here's a quick card that I made for my cousin who's getting baptized.

I entered two challenges with this card.  The first one that I entered was Unscripted sketches #56 using this sketch.
The other challenge was on the Simon Says Stamp Blog which was an anything goes kids challenge.

I hope you enjoyed it!

Happy Anniversary

Hey, everyone!  My newest card is an elegant anniversary card using lace, rhinestones, flourishes, and more!  I hope you enjoy the card and be sure to check out the challenges that I entered.

I entered a sketch challenge from CAS-Colours and Sketches Blog (#35), which required me to use this sketch:
I also entered a color challenge on colourQ (#199) in which I had to use these colors:
I used white card stock, groovy guava paper and ink, kiwi kiss ink, fancy flourishes stamp set, damask designs stamp set and year of the flowers:violet stamp set.
Once again I hope you liked it!

Three in One

Happy Saturday, everyone!  I decided to combine three different card making challenges into one card.  I hope you like it!

One of the challenges that I've entered is "Less is More" (#129), which was to include a handmade flower in your card.
The second challenge was retro sketches (#73) which required me to use this sketch for the card layout:
The final challenge that I entered this card in was Dynamic Duos (#62), giving a specific color palette to use.
I used Black, white, and coral card stock and Mat Stack 1 stamps.  Once again thanks to Sara Mac, for letting me borrow her supplies and thanks to Michal Mac for completing this project with me.  Thanks for reading my blog!

"Feel Better" Card

Hey everybody!  Here's a new card that I made for a card making challenge on Freshly Made Sketches (#95).  This is my first time entering a challenge.

I was inspired by a color challenge that was already expired from Dynamic Duos.

I used In Bloom and Mat Stack 5 from Papertrey, and Martha Stewart paper.  A special thanks to Sara Mac for providing supplies and to Michal Mac for doing this project with me.
